MEGOL, SEBS, TPR, TPE, THERMOPLASTIC ELASTOMER The MEGOL family of TPE compounds is based on SEBS (Styrene-Ethylene-Butadiene-Styrene), which is characterised by excellent elastomeric properties, good UV and ozone resistance, easy colourability, a wide range of service temperatures, and is available in hardnesses from 10o Shore A to 60o Shore D. They are particularly suitable for co-moulding applications to PP and PE. The following families are available within this product group: PUG translucent grades with superior elastomeric properties CUG opaque grades with excellent all-round properties EUG for co-moulding where a very high MFI is required SAT grades with an enhanced MFI EX specifically developed for extrusion applications T transparent grades HT high-temperature grades DE hard grades with a high modulus SV/P special grades for co-moulding to polar resins SV/A special grades for co-moulding to polyamides DP / NL development grades HF Halogen-free grades for calendering and fabric coating to replace PVC
