The RAPLAN family of TPE compounds is based on SBS polymer (Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene), which is characterised by excellent elastomeric properties and easy colourability, and is available in hardnesses from 25o Shore A to 60o Shore D. They are particularly suitable for co-moulding applications to PS. RAPLAN is also available in transparent form, which is suitable for medical applications. When used together with APICOLOR expanding master-batch, RAPLAN can be used to produce very soft extruded gaskets, and be co-extruded with APIGO grades. The following families are available within this product group: CO injection moulding grades CFD harder grades for injection moulding K transparent medical grades DP / NL development grades |
